True to our founding spirit, whenever there is a need in our communities, United Way is there. We bring a comprehensive approach to every challenge, actively listening and responding to local needs.

United is the Way.

United Way of Washington County unites local businesses, nonprofit agencies, and individuals during an annual fundraising campaign from September through December. Funds are invested in programs that empower local individuals and families to improve their lives through Education, Income Stability, and Health.

United Way of Washington County engages, convenes, and mobilizes community resources to address root causes of local health and human service needs.

We do this by:

• Bringing the community together to prioritize needs and set a vision of a better future

• Convening groups to develop and select strategies and focus on initiative action plans

• Raising funds through our annual campaign while also mobilizing other local, regional, state and national resources to execute change for improved community conditions
