All Washington County residents are asked to help prioritize six identified needs in the county by participating in an online United Way survey.  United Way plans to use the gathered data to determine where to focus its efforts to identify and address the root causes of issues impacting county residents. Washington County has been chosen to receive $13,451 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county.  The amount awarded is based on the total number of unemployed and people in poverty in the county as compared to other jurisdictions.
