As United Way of Washington County continues its focus on helping to address needs in Hartford, it made almost $10,000 in additional funds available to not-for-profit programs that provide services in the Hartford community.  These funds were awarded by Hartford business leaders who are members of the Mobilized Hartford Task Force.  Recipients that received the grant were programs that dealt with crisis situation and preventative education in the Hartford community.
