United Way in Washington County is conducting its “United We Dine” promotions with area restaurants November 11th through November 22nd.  “United We Dine” is an opportunity for individuals and families to support local businesses and area nonprofits all at the same time as restaurants donate a percentage of sales. The United Way annual campaign runs now through December 31, 2013. As United Way of Washington County continues its focus on helping to address needs in Hartford, it made almost $10,000 in additional funds available to not-for-profit programs that provide services in the Hartford community.  These funds were awarded by Hartford business leaders who are members of the Mobilized Hartford Task Force.  Recipients that received the grant were programs that dealt with crisis situation and preventative education in the Hartford community.
