2015 PACESETTERS LEAD THE WAY!

Seventeen local companies are taking the lead as Pacesetters in the 2015 United Way campaign. These organizations energize the community by getting an early start on raising funds and awareness. Pacesetter campaigns run through October.

“We are thrilled to have four times as many Pacesetters compared to last year,” said Pat Strachota, 2015 United Way Campaign Co-Chair. “United Way researches community problems, crafts smart solutions, invests resources responsibly, and evaluates the results. I think their long-term, root-cause approach is resonating with members of the business community.”

United Way’s 2015 Pacesetters are:

• Affliliated Clinical Services
• Broan-NuTone
• DACO Precision-Tool
• Elevate
• First National Bank of Hartford
• Friends of Abused Families
• Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin
• Kettle Moraine YMCA
• Manitou Group
• Matenaer Corporation
• Maysteel LLC
• R & R Insurance Services
• RR Donnelly
• Robert W. Baird
• Serigraph
• The Threshold
• West Bend Mutual Insurance Company

“By volunteering as Pacesetters, these organizations are demonstrating a strong commitment to the people in our community,” said Kristin Brandner, Executive Director of United Way of Washington County. “We hope their efforts will inspire everyone to get involved during the campaign. Whether it’s large or small, every gift makes a real difference.”

The United Way campaign will officially kick off with the United Against Hunger meal packaging event at Washington County Fair Park on September 24. The annual campaign raises funds for programs that empower local individuals and families to improve their lives through Education, Income Stability, and Health.
