If you are looking to make a difference in Washington County while furthering your own personal development, you’re in the right place! Emerging Leaders is a team of young professionals who actively invest their time, talent, and resources to improve our community. Our mission is to ignite and inspire one another by providing opportunities to lead, serve, and grow.
WHO IS AN EMERGING LEADER?
An emerging leader is someone who is:
- Motivated to learn about community conditions and address community needs
- Able to contribute ingenuity, ideas, and energy to Emerging Leaders’ mission
- Committed to developing a leadership role in the community

BECOME A MEMBER
Below are the Emerging Leadership membership requirements. Requirements are measured on an annual basis, beginning January 1 each year. Take your first step towards leadership and community impact by signing up today!
- Live or work in Washington County.
- Attend community engagements.
- Volunteer at least 4 hours at a community engagement event in the current calendar year.
- Support United Way Annual Campaign.
- Attend a minimum of two Emerging Leader events.
- Membership Fee: Pay annual fee of $20 ($21 with processing fee if paying online). This covers the cost of all events, with the exception of the annual golf outing.
