United Way and Inspire Internship

Job Description

  • The United Way of Washington County is looking for a qualified intern to assist in various areas of our organization
  • You will be joining an energetic small - but mighty team - with many connections within the Washington County Community
  • You will gain hands-on experience planning & developing programs
  • Reports to the Community Engagement Manager & Director of Inspire, Washington County 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with all components of United Way Annual Campaign
  • Develop/Manage marketing & communications for targeted United Way programs and groups
  • Research and Capstone Projects

Requirements

  • Driven, hardworking and agile
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Undergraduate student
  • The ideal candidate would be pursuing a degree in Human Services, Marketing, Sales or Public Relations

Timing 

  • June 2019 - June 2020
  • Summer Hours: T/W/TH 8am-4pm; respectfully
  • Starting Sept: 24 hours per week, hours based on class schedule
